About Amoena

…And Why We Have a Blog

Amoena logoAs the world’s leading post-mastectomy specialist, Amoena knows that restoring your natural shape and feeling good from the foundations upwards are crucial to your self-confidence after breast surgery. Our breast forms, pocketed bras and mastectomy swimwear are dedicated to helping you look and feel as good as ever.

We also know that our dealings with you, our customers, are typically more intimate than your average manufacturer-consumer relationship. Your choice of Amoena products is often the beginning of a loyalty that can span years, even decades — and we are grateful. It is that relationship we hope to tend and nurture here, with from-the-heart stories, relevant news and our personal reactions to it, timely Amoena product info, and an inside look at what makes Amoena so special.

Of course, the best reason to blog is to create an ongoing dialogue, and that is where you come in! We hope that all our audiences will join in with comments, questions and conversation. (We reserve the right to censor your comments for unpleasantness.)

I just found this website and never realized I could have nipples again without doing more surgery!!! I would love to try them who can I contact?
Thanks so much this put a smile on my face!!

I’m a 5 month bc survivor. I had immediate reconstructive surgery but have decided not to go ahead with nipple reconstruction. Just can’t deal with anymore surgeries! Plus just found out today I may be going blind in one eye so I’m definitely not up for a surgery that has no real reason other than aesthetics. I think a pair of silicon nipples should do the trick for me! How do I go about ordering them?
    Thanks for listening!

Kat, if you go to our Store Locator and type in your zip code, you should be able to find a retailer near you. I would suggest you call them before visiting, to see if they carry our adhesive nipples. If not, they can always order them for you. Thanks for reading and best wishes for good health!

I am having both breasts removed due to pre-cancer and the cancer gene in my family. I was told I will not have nipples afterward. Do you still offer sample of the adhesive nipples? If so please let me know. I would love to see them so I can decide which suits me best.
    Thank you!

I am interested in trying out the nipples..I had a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy…lost my mom and two sisters to cancer before they turned 40, om was 36, sisters were 28 and 24….I just had hysterectomy and mastectomy with reconstruction..the mastectomy was by far the most painful surgery I have ever had. and I cannot imagine having another procedure just to get nipples….I would look at my foobs and just remember the pain of the surgery, even though the doctor did a good job at hiding scars. Thank you for any info you have..
