Charities we love: Jenn and Liv (again), and The BC Relief Foundation

In the next issue of Amoena Life magazine, coming to your mailbox in a few weeks, you’ll read about Jenn Gibbons, an inspirational athlete who’s going the distance for breast cancer awareness and support. I mentioned her earlier this year, but want to give her another shout-out in real-time online because: She sets off tomorrow from Chicago!

Remember, if you live in that area and want to follow her progress or go see her, she’ll be posting updates at her website, www.row4ROW.org.

Good luck, Jenn!

The Breast Cancer Relief Foundation

This New Orleans-based organization is doing great work to help women in need who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Through grant monies and research support, they’re not only giving free mammograms, educational materials and donated medications to needy communites, but they’re also sharing hope. Their unique reach extends to women and their loved ones in the U.S. and beyond.

We profiled TBCRF this month at TheBreastCareSite.com and invite you to learn more.

If you know of other inspirational women or organizations, please contact us. We’re always eager to be part of the community by sharing news and opportunities with our readers.
