Feeling stressed? Meditate with theBreastCareSite.com

Thanksgiving dinner

Holiday stress? Not you. Meditate it away.

Oh, yes, ’tis definitely the season. One week and counting until the biggest meal of the year, and while we’re certainly thankful, Thanksgiving sometimes comes with a heaping helping of stress and worry. Whether you’re June-Cleavering it all on your own or sharing the covered-dish duties, you might be feeling slightly frazzled as the first of the winter holidays draws near.

We have help! Author and healing consultant Alice McCall has generously recorded a guided meditation for readers of TheBreastCareSite.com, and all it takes is 15 minutes of your time. She invites you to join her with this explanation:

One of the best tools to reduce and prevent stress is meditation, and it is free! All it takes is a commitment to engage in this self-healing activity on a regular basis. Spending just 15-20 minutes in meditation each day can have a huge impact on your immune system, attitude, morale, concentration, and calm center.

Sounds like the perfect recipe for a stress-free holiday. Click here to learn more and to listen to this free podcast!

Edited to add: Comments on this post will enter you into a drawing to win a CD of meditations from Alice McCall… Drawing on Dec. 15…!

  10. Karen Drysdale says:

The mind-body-spirit connection has proven so vital to my recovery from Breast Cancer. Each morning I set aside time for my daily prayers and meditations. It is one of my staples of surviving and thriving each day. It is like “one stop shopping” – I focuse on my spiritual condition, which in turn brings along my emotional/mental condition, which in turn improves my physical condition. I know cancer won’t kill me today, and I can more readily ‘bloom where I am planted’ by taking care of my spiritual condition each day. Thank you Amoena for all you do and share in such wonderful ways to make my days better!
