Living every day to the full is what matters to Gaily who, following a double mastectomy, was inspired to brave the chill of the UK’s rivers and join her local dragon boat racing team. The Pool of Life is the only UK dragon boat team made up solely of breast cancer survivors.  They race in the national dragon boat league and achieved international fame when they took part in the Singapore championships, winning a silver and three bronze medals.
