Loretta Pitt – Sales Director
With a background in medical studies, Loretta’s interest in breast care was kindled in the early 1980s when she joined the sales team of a surgical prosthetics company. At that time breast forms were mainly fitted by male orthotists and there were only about five breast care nurses in the country. Nobody new much about breast forms, so Loretta took time out to research them. She sat in on clinics as well as observing several mastectomy operations, learning why certain types of breast form are fitted for certain surgical procedures. Loretta became sales director for Amoena in the UK in 1989, and her expertise helps to inform much of the company’s new product development.
Rhoda White – Marketing manager
Rhoda has over 20 years’ marketing experience. She joined Amoena UK in 1992 and since then has built a wealth of industry experience and customer knowledge within the breast care sector. Among her achievements at Amoena has been setting up the hugely successful mail order/retail division of the company, which now includes online sales. She has also edited Amoena Life, the company’s free lifestyle magazine, since it’s introduction in 1993.
